The Microsoft Teams integration for Default adds a Microsoft Teams link to meetings booked through Default. It uses each member’s own Microsoft 365 connection, the same account as their Outlook Calendar.
Select Settings in the sidebar, then Connections under Workspace Settings, and open Microsoft Teams. Members see only the calendar providers on the Connections page. Microsoft Teams works for them once their Outlook Calendar is connected.

Connect Microsoft Teams

1

Connect Microsoft 365

Select Connect on the Microsoft Teams page. If your Outlook Calendar is already connected, Microsoft Teams is connected right away. If not, Default opens the Outlook Calendar page so you can connect it first.
2

Use Calendar Default on your events

Set an event’s Location to Calendar Default. Default generates a Teams link when the host’s primary calendar is Outlook.
3

Set your conferencing preference (optional)

Set Conferencing Setup to Microsoft Teams on your user page (Settings, then Users, and Edit on your row). With Outlook Calendar connected, Default then adds a Teams link even when your primary calendar is Google Calendar.

Manage or disconnect

Once connected, the card shows a check mark. Select the card, then Disconnect on the detail page to remove it.
