The Gong Engage integration for Default lets workflows add contacts to Gong Engage flows and lets
bookings create consent-enabled Gong meetings. An admin connects it once for the whole workspace.
Default uses Gong Engage only, and does not read Gong calls or transcripts.
Select Settings in the sidebar, then Connections under Workspace Settings, and open
Gong Engage. Admin access is required.
Connect Gong Engage
Open the Gong Engage card
Select the Gong Engage card on the Connections page.
Authorize the connection
Select Connect and approve the Gong sign-in popup. If Gong was already connected for Engage,
select Reconnect and approve the popup. That grants meeting scopes on the same connection.
What you can do
Add contacts to Gong Engage flows with the Add to Gong Engage Flow node in workflows. See
Sequencing nodes.
Map each Default user to their Gong Engage email in Users.
Set an event Location to Gong (Consent-enabled recording) so bookings create a Gong meeting
and put the consent URL on Google Calendar and Outlook invites. A Gong admin must enable the
Recording Consent Page. If the host is not a Gong user, or Gong is disconnected, booking uses
the host calendar’s Google Meet or Teams link.
Manage or disconnect
Once connected, the card shows a check mark. On the detail page, Reconnect opens Gong consent again without removing the installation. Select Disconnect on the detail page to remove it. Last modified on October 21, 2026
