# Switch from RevenueHero to Default

> Migration guide from RevenueHero to Default: how Inbound Routers, Matching and Distribution Rules, Relays, Campaign Routers, and enrichment map to Default, the setup steps in order, and what has no direct equivalent.

Switching from RevenueHero to Default means rebuilding your RevenueHero routers as Default workflows,
your teams and distribution rules as queues and routing policies, and your meeting types as Default
events. Default connects to Salesforce or HubSpot, picks up the forms already on your website, and
enriches, matches, routes, and books each lead in 1 workflow.

This guide is for admins. Default does not import RevenueHero routers, rules, or meeting types, so
plan to rebuild them and move your forms over 1 at a time.

## RevenueHero and Default at a glance

| RevenueHero | What it does in RevenueHero | Where it lives in Default |
| - | - | - |
| **Inbound Router** | Listens to a lead capture form, qualifies each submission, and books the right rep. | [Forms](/forms) picks up your existing form. A [workflow](/workflows) with the **Form Submission** trigger qualifies and routes the lead, then shows a **Display Scheduler** node. |
| **Matching Rules** | Find the matching CRM record and route the meeting to its owner. | The **Match Record** node, then **Display Scheduler** with the record's owner as host. |
| **Distribution Rules** and **Teams** | Round robin new leads within a team, or across several teams with collective round robin. | [Queues](/queues) and [routing policies](/policies), used by **Team events** and the **Round-Robin** node. |
| **Relays** | Let a sales development rep (SDR) book a prospect on the right account executive's calendar. | A workflow with the **Extension** trigger, run from the [Chrome extension](/chrome-extension). |
| **Campaign Router** | Calendar-first booking links for outbound campaigns and sequences. | Booking links on a **Team event** that a queue hosts. |
| **Meeting Types** and meeting links | Duration, buffers, invite text, and personal or group links. | [Events](/events) and their booking links. |
| Enrichment | Real-time enrichment from providers to qualify and route leads. | The **Enrich Data** node with an enrichment [waterfall](/settings/configurations/waterfalls). |
| **Workflows** | Notifications and webhooks when meeting events happen. | Workflows with the **Meeting Status** trigger, plus **Send Slack Message** and **Send to Webhook**. |
| **Routing Logs** | The full trace of 1 form submission, from the form to the CRM. | Workflow [run logs](/workflows/run-logs), and **Routing** → **Assignments**. |

## RevenueHero Inbound Routers in Default

A RevenueHero Inbound Router maps a form, disqualifies some prospects, checks matching rules, then
applies distribution rules. A Default workflow runs the same steps as nodes, in the order you place
them.

| RevenueHero Inbound Router | Default |
| - | - |
| Map your web form: **Fetch the form** from a URL, or map manually with a form selector | The Pixel, installed once for each site. **Catalog forms** adds each existing form, and you map its fields to **Person** and **Company** fields. See [Your forms](/forms/your-forms). |
| Forms supported: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Webflow, custom HTML, and others | Default recognizes plain HTML forms and embedded HubSpot, Marketo, and Pardot forms. The Pixel captures HTML, HubSpot, and Marketo submissions itself. For a Pardot form, send its submissions with the Forms SDK. See [Pardot forms](/forms/pardot). |
| **Disqualify Free Emails** and **Conditional Disqualification**, with a redirect | Conditions in a **Multi-Branch** node, then a [**Redirect**](/workflows/steps-actions#redirect) node. |
| **Matching Rules**, checked top to bottom, first match wins | **Match Record** nodes in the order you place them. For example, match the Account first, and on **No Match**, match the Contact. |
| Match on email domain to the account owner | **Match Record** on the Account, with **Website** compared to **Domain from email** using **domain matches**. See [Match an account by company domain](/workflows/steps-crm#match-an-account-by-company-domain). |
| The owner plus a group, for a collective meeting | **Display Scheduler** with custom hosts: the owner as primary, and other members or queues as required or optional hosts. |
| Write the owner back to your CRM | **Update Record** with the owner field. |
| **Distribution Rules** with conditions on form, CRM, or enrichment fields | A **Multi-Branch** node, or a [Rules of Engagement](/rules-of-engagement) ruleset that picks a queue from form, CRM, and enrichment data. |
| **Redistribution** of prospects who do not book | The **Not booked** branch of **Display Scheduler**, with **Round-Robin** and **Update Record**. |
| **Redirect URLs** for booked and disqualified prospects | **Add redirect on meeting booked** and **Add redirect on meeting not booked** on **Display Scheduler**, and the **Redirect** node. |
| Wait time before a prospect counts as **Not booked** | **Timeout** on **Display Scheduler**, in minutes. The minimum is 3 and the default is 5. |

## RevenueHero round robin in Default

| RevenueHero | Default |
| - | - |
| **Teams** | Queues. Each member has a **Weight** and an active switch. |
| **Round robin with one team** | A queue that hosts a **Team event**, or a **Round-Robin** node for owner assignment. |
| **Collective round robin**: a primary rep plus members of other groups | A **Team event** with several hosts, members or queues, with 1 marked primary and the others marked required or optional. |
| **Strict**, **Flexible**, and **Balanced** Round Robin, set for the whole account | Set on each routing policy. **Slots Rule** decides whether the booking page shows 1 member's times (**Single Member**) or times when any active member is free (**All Active Members**). The distribution rule is **Take turns equally**, **Most available calendar time**, or **Least recent assignment**. |
| Weighted distribution | **Enable weighted distribution** on the policy, then each member's **Weight**. |
| No-show and cancellation credits | The policy's **Credit Behavior**: **Cancelled meetings**, **Reassigned meetings**, and **No-show meetings**. |
| **Round Robin History** and calibration | **Routing** → **Assignments**, and calibration on a queue member: **Calibrate to avg**, **Calibrate to max**, or **Custom**. |
| Vacation management | The policy's **Availability** tab skips members who are out of office in Default or on their calendar. |

## RevenueHero Relays, links, and meetings in Default

| RevenueHero | Default |
| - | - |
| **Relays**: book a Relay meeting from your CRM, your inbox, or any sales tool | A workflow with the **Extension** trigger. In the Chrome extension, the rep loads the lead from a Gmail, Salesforce, or HubSpot page, or types the email, then selects **Book a meeting with**. |
| RevenueHero booking button in Salesforce, and the Chrome extension | The Chrome extension, which offers the lead on the Salesforce page you are viewing. |
| **Personal Meeting Links** | A **Quick event** and its booking link. |
| **Group Meeting Links** with combined availability | A **Team event** with several hosts, each marked required or optional. |
| **Campaign Router** links | A **Team event** that a queue hosts, shared with **Permanent** or **Expiring** booking links. Open **Advanced** in the **Booking links** drawer to add URL parameters. |
| Meeting actions: reschedule, cancel, mark a no-show | [Meetings](/meetings): **Cancel meeting**, **Mark as no-show**, and **Reassign**, which moves a meeting to a new host or queue. Reschedules happen from the booking page or the calendar invite. |
| Reminder emails, and SMS reminders through Twilio | Message templates in [Messages](/scheduling-messages). Default sends email and SMS to guests itself. |
| **Workflows**: notifications and webhooks on meeting events | A workflow with the **Meeting Status** trigger, then **Send Slack Message** or **Send to Webhook**. |

## Enrich and qualify leads in Default

RevenueHero pulls firmographic data from a connected provider when a visitor submits. In Default,
an **Enrich Data** node right after the **Form Submission** trigger runs before any routing node.

| Field on Enrich Data | What to set |
| - | - |
| **Enrichment target** | **Person**, **Company**, or **Both**. |
| **Enrichment source** | A single provider, or a waterfall of up to 5 providers. In this node, a waterfall calls all of its providers at once and keeps the value from the highest provider for each field. Each provider that returns data uses credits. |

* **Providers:** waterfalls use Clearbit, Apollo, People Data Labs, and Wiza. Default manages access to
  these providers, so you don't need an account or API key with any of them.
* **Email checks:** a waterfall can also validate emails with Abstract Email Reputation or Icypeas.
* **Qualify and route:** a **Multi-Branch** node or a **Rules of Engagement** ruleset can use the
  enriched values, for example company size or country.
* **CRM hygiene:** **Create Record** or **Update Record** can write the enriched values to Salesforce
  or HubSpot.

See [Enrichment nodes](/workflows/steps-enrichment).

## Rebuild a RevenueHero Inbound Router as a Default workflow

This example rebuilds an Inbound Router for a `Request a demo` form. Known accounts book with the
account owner, new companies with more than 500 employees book the `Enterprise demo` event, and
everyone else books the `Demo` event. Both events are **Team events** hosted by queues.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start from the form">
    In **Workflows**, create a workflow and add the **Form Submission** trigger. Set
    **Connected Form** to `Request a demo`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enrich the lead">
    Add **Enrich Data** with **Enrichment target** set to **Both** and your waterfall as
    **Enrichment source**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Disqualify the prospects you do not book">
    Add **Multi-Branch** with a branch for the prospects you disqualify, for example a country you do
    not sell to. On that branch, add **Redirect** to a page on your site. Continue from **Else**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Match the account">
    Add **Match Record** with **Record** set to **Account**. Compare **Website** with the submitted
    email using **domain matches** and **Domain from email**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Book known accounts with their owner">
    On **Match**, add **Display Scheduler** with the `Demo` event. Turn off **Use event hosts** and
    set the host to the matched Account's owner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Distribute new companies">
    On **No Match**, add **Multi-Branch** with an `Enterprise` branch for more than 500 employees. Add
    **Display Scheduler** with the `Enterprise demo` event on `Enterprise`, and with the `Demo` event on
    **Else**. Keep **Use event hosts** on, so each event's queue picks the rep.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow up on prospects who do not book">
    On each **Not booked** branch, add **Send Slack Message**, or **Round-Robin** and
    **Update Record** to give the lead an owner for follow-up.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Test and publish">
    Select **Test**, then **Run Test** once for each case: a known account, a large new company, a
    small new company, and a disqualified prospect. Then select **Publish**, and turn on the
    [deployment switch](/workflows#the-enabled-switch) so the status reads **Live**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  A workflow test performs real actions. It can book meetings, count routing assignments, and write
  to your CRM. Use test people.
</Warning>

## Move from RevenueHero to Default step by step

<Steps>
  <Step title="Connect your CRM and conferencing tool">
    Select **Settings** in the sidebar, then **Integrations** under **Workspace Settings**. Connect
    Salesforce or HubSpot. Salesforce needs the Default managed package installed first. See
    [Salesforce](/settings/integrations/salesforce) and [HubSpot](/settings/integrations/hubspot).
    If your team meets on Zoom, connect Zoom once for the workspace. Google Meet and Microsoft Teams
    links come from each member's own calendar connection.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Invite your team and connect calendars">
    In **Settings** → **Users**, select **Invite People**. Each member connects Google Calendar or
    Outlook Calendar and sets working hours. See [Member onboarding](/member-onboarding).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Map each rep to their CRM user">
    In **Settings** → **Users**, add each rep's Salesforce User ID or HubSpot Owner ID. Default needs
    this mapping to write CRM owners and to use a record owner as a meeting host. See
    [Users](/settings/users).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rebuild Teams and Distribution Rules as queues">
    In **Routing** → **Policies**, select **Create Policy**, and choose the distribution rule and
    **Slots Rule**. In **Routing** → **Queues**, select **Create Queue** for each team. See
    [Policies](/policies) and [Queues](/queues).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rebuild Meeting Types as events">
    In **Scheduling** → **Event Types**, select **Create new event**. Use a **Team event** with a queue
    as host for each distribution rule, and a **Quick event** for personal links. Assign reminder and
    notification templates under **Messages**. See [Events](/events).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Install the Pixel and add your forms">
    Open **Signals**, select **Add Domain**, and install the Pixel snippet. Then open the domain's menu,
    select **Catalog forms**, add each form you mapped in RevenueHero, and map its fields. See
    [Set up the Pixel and Forms SDK](/pixel-sdk-setup).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rebuild routers and Relays">
    Build 1 workflow for each Inbound Router, as in
    [Rebuild a RevenueHero Inbound Router](#rebuild-a-revenuehero-inbound-router-as-a-default-workflow).
    For Relays, build a workflow with the **Extension** trigger. For Campaign Routers, share booking
    links from the matching **Team event**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Log meetings in your CRM">
    Build a workflow with the **Meeting Status** trigger set to **Booked**. Find the guest's record with
    **Match Record**, then add **Create Activity** for Salesforce or **Create Engagement** for HubSpot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Switch over 1 form at a time">
    When a workflow passes its tests, publish it and set it live. Then remove the RevenueHero script
    from that form's pages, so visitors see 1 scheduler.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What does not carry over from RevenueHero

* **Configuration.** Default has no importer for RevenueHero routers, rules, teams, or meeting types.
  You rebuild them in Default.
* **Meeting history and reports.** Meetings, routing logs, and reports stay in RevenueHero. Default
  starts its own meeting and assignment records from the first workflow run.
* **Other CRMs.** Default connects to Salesforce and HubSpot. Zoho CRM and Freshsales are not
  supported. Attio is coming soon.
* **RevenueHero forms.** Default doesn't design or host forms, so there is no hosted form page behind
  a link. Put the form on your website, either one you add with **Catalog forms** or one you create
  in Default with **Create new** → **New form**. See
  [Create a form in Default](/forms/your-forms#create-a-form-in-default). For handoffs, the Chrome
  extension needs only the lead's email to route.
* **Owner lookup from a link.** A Default booking link books with the link's hosts. It does not look
  up a CRM owner from URL parameters, the way a prefilled Campaign Router link can.
* **Meeting and prospect limits.** Default has no cap on how many meetings a rep takes, or on how
  often a prospect or company can book.
* **Nominees.** Default has no named backup for each rep. **Display Scheduler** has 1
  **Fallback Host (Optional)** for the node.
* **Other enrichment providers.** Crustdata, Ocean.io, ZoomInfo, and ZeroBounce are not Default
  providers. Default's waterfalls use Clearbit, Apollo, People Data Labs, and Wiza.
* **Other entry points.** RevenueHero's Intercom widget, Gong, and Appcues integrations have no
  Default equivalent.
* **Other languages.** The Default scheduler is in English.
* **Other conferencing tools.** Default adds Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams links, or an
  in-person location. Daily and custom conference links are not supported.
