# Connections in Default

> The tools Default connects to: Salesforce and HubSpot, sequencing tools, Slack, Default-managed enrichment and website intent providers, calendars, and conferencing, with who can connect each.

Connections in Default connect your CRM, sequencing, notification, calendar, and conferencing
tools to your workspace, and turn on the enrichment providers Default manages. Admins connect
workspace tools on the **Connections** page. Members connect their own calendar.

Find the provider you want below to see how to connect and manage it.

>
> Select **Settings** in the sidebar, then **Connections** under **Workspace Settings**.
>
> Admins can connect any provider. Members can connect their own calendar and conferencing tools.

## Connecting a provider

Selecting a provider card opens its detail page, where you can connect, manage, or disconnect it.

**1. Open the provider**

Select the provider's card. Its detail page shows what the integration does and how to connect it.

**2. Authorize the connection**

Select **Connect**. Most providers open a secure sign-in popup, where you approve the access Default
needs.

A few providers ask for an API key instead of a popup: **Apollo.io (Sequencing)**,
**Amplemarket**, and **Smartlead**.

**3. Manage or disconnect**

Once connected, the provider's card shows a check mark, and a **Disconnect** option appears on
its detail page. Disconnecting removes the integration from your workspace.

## Access by role

The Connections page is open to everyone, but what each person can do depends on their role.

| | Admin | Member |
| - | :-: | :-: |
| Search integrations | Yes | No |
| Browse by category | Yes | No, the page shows members the Calendar providers only |
| Connect, manage, or disconnect a provider | Any provider | Own calendar and conferencing |
| Open a provider's detail page | Any provider | Calendar and conferencing only |

The Connections page shows members the Calendar providers, Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.
Members can also open the Google Meet and Microsoft Teams pages, for example from the
**Conferencing** column on the **Users** page. Both work once the member's matching calendar is
connected. Zoom stays admin only because admins manage it for the whole workspace.

Opening any other provider shows a permission message.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Members connect their own calendar here on the Connections page. Admins can change a member's
> primary calendar on that member's **Availability & OOO** page in **Users**, and their
> **Conferencing Setup** on the member's edit page. See [Users](/settings/users.md).
